Fall 2009

Krista just returned from a trip to NYC and Southampton for an international screenwriting conference at Stony Brook University.  Her writing was accepted as part of a masters-level program, where she was instructed by the likes of: Alec Baldwin ("30Rock"), Peter Hedges (writer/director "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" with Johnny Depp, and "Pieces of April" with Katie Holmes), and Randy Myler ("Love, Janice" - a travelling show about the life and letters of Janice Joplin). Out of this creative energy, Krista is developing her own work....  Coming Soon.

Krista shares the screen with Mariska Hargitay in "Amelia" (a Feature about the life of Amelia Earhart) starring Hilary Swank, slated to open October 29, 2009.  Krista received praise for her work on the film from Director, Mira Nair (see side bar).

Krista is also assisting in the creation of a "History-Making" book called "Actors' Exercises for Everybody"© by Janine Manatis, based on Janine's evolution of the "method" and how it can be used to bring more creativity and freedom to people's lives. More about this starting here.
