"But I'm not Creative!"
As we're talking about this book in terms of "Everybody", somebody might say, "this is all very interesting, but what does this have to do with me? I'm an accountant, or I sell lingerie."  How often in my life have I heard someone protest: "I am Not Creative! I don't have any artistic ability, I can't draw and I can't sing worth a damn - my brother is the creative one, I'm really good at business, but don't ask me to sing or draw or act. I'd rather die!"
Doing a particular exercise may not turn you into a singer, or an actor, or an artist - or your version of being a "creative" person, but it will bring You to whatever it is that you are doing.  That process frees you in ways that you may not fully comprehend at first. It will alter your definition of what creativity is, because in fact we are all creative.
When you do this work, you will be a happier, more accomplished person in whatever it is you are doing - with a sense of satisfaction that you have in fact done something creative.  And at the end of the day, you will feel better!
